We depart early in the morning for the Chubut River Valley. The first stop on the tour is the city of Trelew, where we will visit the Paleontological Museum, which has reopened after tripling its original size. Among the highlights of this space is the life-size replica of the skeleton of Patagotitan mayorum, the star of the new central hall. This unique exhibit will allow visitors to walk beneath the largest dinosaur in the world. The museum also features original fossils, previously unpublished discoveries, new dinosaurs never before exhibited, giant marine reptiles, and a collection of pterodactyls, including the gigantic Thanatosdrakon. We will continue our journey west to the town of Gaiman, 15 km from Trelew. Located on the north bank of the Chubut River, Gaiman preserves traces of the Welsh colonization of the region. The old and traditional architecture, the Welsh tea experience (optional, not included) with its incredible variety of cakes, and the unique beauty of the valley are just some of the highlights. Continuing the tour, you will pass through the area of small farms where various rural establishments offer agritourism, featuring a wide variety of artisanal products. Finally, we return to the city of Puerto Madryn in the afternoon.
