Main attractions: regular traditional right whale watching or nautical tour (depending on the season), elephant seals, sea lions and terrestrial fauna.
Estimated time: 9 – 10 hours.
Route: approximately 400 km (asphalt and gravel).

We depart early in the morning towards the Peninsula Valdés Protected Natural Area, declared World Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 1999. After an hour of travel we arrive at the picturesque ecological village Puerto Pirámides to embark and do the traditional regular right whale watching ( optional, not included) between the months of June and November, or sea lions and cormorants between the months of December and March. Between April and mid-June there is no type of navigation.
Lunch (not included) will be scheduled in Puerto Pirámides or Caleta Valdes. We will travel through the southern part of the Peninsula, crossing vast landscapes of grasslands and undulations, passing through the Salinas Grande and Chica, and outside Punta Delgada, which constitutes the southern end of the peninsula. We continue towards Punta Cantor to admire the Atlantic coast and the fascinating geological formation known as Caleta Valdés. These beaches are usually inhabited depending on the time of year by southern elephant seals, the largest seals on the planet. Depending on the time of year and the disposition of the marine fauna, we can replace the southern area of Las Salinas and Caleta Valdes with Punta Norte. From there we begin the return, making a stop at the Carlos Ameghino Interpretation Center, a compendium of the natural wealth of the peninsula. During the excursion we have great chances of observing terrestrial wildlife, such as guanacos, choiques, foxes, maras, armadillos and skunks.
