Starting in El Calafate, this is an incredible full-day adventure in the mythical town of El Chaltén, known for its imposing peaks, rivers, lakes and forests. It is a picturesque tourist village located in Argentine Patagonia, which offers a wide variety of activities to enjoy nature. A mandatory stop along the way is the Parador y Hotel de Campo La Leona, where you can taste local cuisine and learn more about the history of the great estancias in the region. Once there, multiple options will be presented to enjoy the day. One of the most popular options is the trek to the "Mirador de los Cóndores", which is of low to medium difficulty and offers panoramic views of the Adela, Torre, Fitz Roy massifs and the valley of the Río de Las Vueltas. In addition, there is a 20-meter-high waterfall called Chorrillo del Salto, which can be visited on a low-difficulty hike. For those looking for a more exciting experience, they can opt for rafting on the Río de las Vueltas or add a navigation to Lago del Desierto, both at an additional cost.  During the walk, we suggest you have a powerful and typical Argentine lunch, consisting of a main course and a drink. There are six options of dishes to choose from: special supreme with rustic potatoes or mixed salad, mixed potato cake (a mixture of potatoes and sweet potatoes ideal for vegetarians), tallarines with different sauces to choose from, lentil stew with meat and red chorizo, vegetarian lentil stew, lentil burger with rustic vegetables or salad, for those looking for a vegetarian alternative. In case the chosen activity does not allow you to go to the restaurant, you can choose to exchange your lunch for a lunch box, as long as you request it one day in advance.
